Although it won't be published until March of next year, there's a new book on the Rendlesham Forest UFO affair looming large on the horizon. Titled Encounter in Rendlesham Forest, it's written by Nick Pope, with John Burroughs and Jim Penniston.
I got to RAF Woodbridge in February 1987. My supervisor had been there since '81, or '82, but his original supervisor had been there when the UFO landed. My supervisor told me that he had been told that an aircraft electrician had taken an aircraft battery and some electrical cable on board the UFO and walked without that stuff. Some component onboard needed external power due to damage so the craft could leave. They guy had communicated with a couple little aliens.
