Roswell Slides: The Latest

The latest on the "Roswell slides" issue...

You'll see a reference in the link to various people having been hacked by someone trying to secure more info on the slides. You'll also see a reference to one of those people who got hacked being me - which is absolutely true.

All of this occurred back in the summer...but the matter is far from over...

  1. You mean people hacked your computer in search of alien photos? I thought you were only mistaken with MIBs, Nick! :P

  4. Well, the only reason I care about this, it's because it directly affected you, Nick. I hope it didn't cause you much trouble.

Let's see what else transpires. In the meantime I'll put the popcorn in the microwave ;)

  5. I think if Carey has anything at all. He should be put out now, for his own safety.

  6. No, it didn't cause me trouble, as such.

What made me severely angry was the principle of someone illegally accessing one of my several email accounts.

In that sense, my anger had less to do with the slides, and far more to do with the fact that this was a crime against me.

What the hacker would do was to pop up in emailed conversations between me and others interested in the slides.

And, the hacker would somehow CC himself on the emails and reply to what we were discussing - so he was clearly reading the emails.

For the record, I doubt that this was anything to do with "the government."

The reason I say that is because the person used a safemail account.

And, when complaints were made, the account was shut down by safemail.

I'm pretty sure that an agency would not have to use a safemail account to access (and respond to) my and others emails that discussed the slides.
