Tonight, the calm after the storm: thunder, lightning, the usual...!

  1. Hey Nick,

Sorry to contact you here, but I couldn't find an email address anywhere. So please just delete this after you've read it.

I’m a horror author and publish mostly on Amazon. My two main series are World’s Scariest Places and World’s Scariest Legends. You can find more info here:

I’m getting in touch with a few authors in the hopes of starting collaborations on a new series called World’s Scariest Creepypastas (or something similar).

Essentially, the idea is to take a short creepypasta and turn it into a short novel (maybe 40,000 - 50,000 words—long enough it could still be published in paperback).

I've seen a lot of indie authors recently doing joint collaborations on books (Jeremy Robinson and LT Ryan are two good examples on Amazon). Doing something similar has been in the back of my mind for a while. One, I think it would be fun. Two, it’s a good way to get more books outs. And three, it’s plays into Amazon’s algorithms for linking authors and their work with one another.

Anyway, I’m in the process of contacting a few authors in the hopes of getting maybe three books going simultaneously (I’ve just finished a book and have time on my hands now). This way, in about six months, there would be three new books in the series, benefiting all authors involved. And if it goes well, hopefully I might do another three in the following six months.

I’m contacting you because Slenderman and cryptids and unsolved mysteries etc are exactly the stuff I’m into and what the series would be focusing on.

If you have any interest or questions, please let me know. And if not, no worries at all! This is a bit out of the blue.

    Take it easy,

    Jeremy
