Roswell: Hiatus or Change?

Is it time to give the Roswell affair a rest until there is actually something new to say, instead of just going over old ground? In my view, yes. And it's the subject of a new article from me, which you can find here.

Here's how it starts:

"If you are a regular follower of Kevin Randle’s 'A Different Perspective' blog, you’ll know that he has recently posted a few new articles on Roswell. One is on the controversy concerning the so-called “Roswell Slides” – which are actually nothing of the sort. And everyone knows that. A second was on the matter of the size of the debris field on the Foster Ranch, Lincoln County, New Mexico, where the wreckage of 'it' (whatever 'it' may have been) was found. And the third new article from Kevin deals with a military man who suspected that what came down was an aircraft. And, if you are a regular reader of Rich Reynolds’ UFO Conjecture(s) blog, you’ll know that Rich feels Ufology may be on its last legs, and that endless debate about Roswell is pointless and cannot lead anywhere. All of which brings me to the matter of this article.

"As much as I recognize Kevin’s enthusiasm for solving Roswell, I have to say that endlessly debating every tiny detail, repeatedly scrutinizing every single word spoken by those on-site, and trying to figure out the size of the debris field does not – and never will – provide answers to what really happened a few hours’ drive outside of Roswell in the summer of 1947. Here’s what I mean: the Air Force believes that what came down on the Foster Ranch was neither a weather-balloon nor a UFO, but a Mogul balloon. Now, if a debate about the size of the debris-field suggests it wasn’t a Mogul balloon or a weather-balloon…well… that’s all it achieves. And it’s all that such a debate can achieve."

Roswell Slides - Dead and Buried

Well, the biggest soap-opera since Dallas is now over.

The Roswell Slides are as a dead as the mummy that they show.

Certain heads should be hanging in shame. Whether they are, however, is another matter entirely.

I could go on and on about this scummy affair, but, frankly, I have better things to do with my time.

Instead, I'll refer you to what I consider to be the most relevant and important post-collapse articles.

1: Check out Paul Kimball's Red Star Films blog for a number of excellent posts.

2. Rich Reynolds' UFO Conjecture(s) blog.

3. Kevin Randle's latest post on the slides.

Kevin Randle on the Roswell Slides

Kevin Randle has a new article at his A Different Perspective blog - the subject being, of course, the Roswell Slides.

It's a lengthy article, but to sum it up, Kevin is not impressed.

He's not the only one.

The numbers are growing...

Strange Creatures and Circuses

That's the subject of my new Mysterious Universe article...

It starts...

"Back in 2011, at his A Different Perspective blog, Kevin Randle provided us with an excellent post on one of the most intriguing, and controversial, cases within the realm of UFO research: the ultra-weird 'Kelly-Hopkinsville' affair of 1955, in which a Kentucky, USA family was allegedly terrorized by alien entities.

"Kelly was, and still is, a small, rural town which is situated just short of ten miles from Hopkinsville. They are the kinds of places where people keep themselves to themselves, and nothing of a particularly sensational matter ever happens – apart, that is, from the fateful night of August 15, when absolute chaos broke out. It all went down at the farmhouse of the Sutton family, who had visitors in from Pennsylvania: Billy Ray Taylor and his wife. It was roughly 7:00 p.m. when Billy Ray left the farmhouse to fetch water from the family’s well. And what a big mistake that was."

Roswell Slides/Not Roswell Slides

Kevin Randle, at his A Different Perspective blog, gives us the latest news on the "Roswell Slides," which, apparently, we shouldn't be calling the "Roswell Slides," after all. If you're confused, you're definitely not the only one...

The "Roswell Slides" - The Debate Continues

There is a new development in the ever-growing, complicated controversy of the so-called "Roswell Slides."

Apparently, we are going to see what all the fuss is about in May.

But not for one single minute do I think it's going to lay matters to rest.

Instead, I suspect the controversy has barely begun...

Here's story one (at Rich Reynolds' UFO Conjecture(s) blog);

Story number two (at Kevin Randle's A Different Perspective blog);

And the third one takes us back to Rich Reynolds.

Enjoy the circus!

More on the Roswell Slides - an Aztec Connection?

Kevin Randle - at his A Different Perspective blog - has a new post on the "Roswell Slides" affair.

When will it all end? It won't...

This one brings the infamous "Aztec UFO crash" of 1948 into the controversy. You can find a comment in the "Comments" section from me that may or may not be relevant.
