Halloween Night: The Best Movies...In My View...

With Halloween (the best night of the year) just around the corner, I thought I'd share with you my favorite movies for Halloween night: "Gargoyles," "Don't be Afraid of the Dark" (the original 1970s one), "Salem's Lot," (also the 1970s one), "Prophecy" and "The Fog" (also, the original one, not the totally crappy remake).

Any thoughts?

  2. Love them, but would add “The Thing” (1982 original)

    1. The Thing was a remake of a 1951 film. "The Thing" with James Harness of Gunsmoke fame.

  3. Excellent choices. I loved watching Gargoyles as a child. Still just as much fun now.

  4. Hi Nick. I watched the Fog again in mid-October and I was quickly reminded why I love that movie so much.

  5. I like the John Carpenter version of 'THE THING'. It kept me on edge trying to figure out who was IT.
