Good read. Plausible. Not beyond government capabilities. Goes a long way to refuting Roswell UFO claim if the info is corroborated. Seems that being the greatest UFO story of America, refutation will ultimately puss back UFO and ET theory. Any worries? Or do you feel the topic minus Roswell is capable of standing on its own merits? If this was all US GOV wouldn't one feel compelled to accept that most other sighting could be likewise categorized? Flight tech is said to be 20+ years beyond what is unveiled. On a tech bell curve wouldn't one presume that now it would only be further advanced and more easily misinterpreted?
Worries? Nope. What is there to worry about? Nothing. The main thing is to uncover the truth of Roswell, whatever the answer might be. I do think the UFO subject can (maybe just about) survive without Roswell. But, if Roswell is 100 percent proved to not have been an ET event, I think we'll see a move from the "nuts and bolts" angle of Ufology, to a more supernatural kind of Ufology that John Keel suggested - and for the most part I think Keel was right: yes there are genuine, unexplained UFO events, but they are very likely paranormal in origin and not extraterrestrial. As for Roswell, it's Ufology's own fault for elevating it to the position of Number One Case. The bigger they are the harder they fall.
Excellent point. It will be sad to see Roswell fall by the wayside if your premise proves out. But getting that case tidied up may be the thing needed to advance the rest of the entire story. All the disinformation that abounds will undoubtedly be filtered in due course. I almost hope that happens in my lifetime. But in another way I see the world as it is and wonder what would happen. A good friend says it would take first contact (official) to unite mankind. I hope he is correct. And I hope it is in a good way with good outcome.
